Westlake Village Friends of The Library
Did you know that the Friends of the Westlake Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support Library programs? The funds that support these programs come from donations, membership dues, and from sales of used books at the Book Nook.
These funds help to support:
- Children's Programs including Baby and Pre-School Storytimes
- Cartooning and Chess classes for children
- Writing and Publishing Workshops and Art Classes for teens and adults
- Special annual activities such as SAT prep and Legal workshops
- The Annual Summer Reading Program
- Westlake Village Reads
All activities help ensure that the library continues to meet the needs of the community. Due to the Friends of Library's support, the Library is able to offer these programs for free to the public. If you would like to support the Westlake Village Library, you may drop off book donations at the Book Nook, join the Friends of the Westlake Village Library, or submit a donation directly to the Friends of the Westlake Village Library donation box in the Library.
Joining the Friends of Westlake Village Library is easy. Memberships start at as little as $10 a year. Membership forms are available at the Book Nook and Westlake Village Library.
