Citizen & Youth of the Year

Citizen & Youth Recognition

Each year the City Council recognizes outstanding youth and adult residents who have made a difference in enhancing and improving the quality of life within the community. Individuals nominated must be Westlake Village residents.

Do you know of a special neighbor who has enhanced the quality of life in the City? Can you think of a high school-aged resident that is making a difference at his or her school or in our community? The Citizen and Youth of the Year recipients are awarded to City of Westlake Village residents who are recognized for making significant contributions to the City and for displaying a strong sense of volunteerism, civic pride, and commitment toward the betterment of the community.

Nominations for Citizen and Youth of the Year 2021 will open below on November 1, 2020. Nominees must be residents of the City of Westlake Village. The nomination forms are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021. The Youth and Citizen of the Year will be honored by the City Council with the youth winner receiving a $500 scholarship and the citizen receiving a $500 donation to the charity of their choice.
