Duties The Environmental Committee evaluates and advises the City Council on all environmental issues impacting the City. This committee also gives attention to waste management programs (including recycling under Assembly Bill 939 requirements), landscape and hardscape improvements in the public right-of-way, and City activities required by the federally mandated Storm Water Management Practices and Pollution Control Implementation Plan under a permit issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board.
