Current Capital Projects

As part of a long-range master plan, Fiscal Year 2016-2017 will see the City continue to reinvest in its infrastructure, particularly in the area of roadways, parks, and streetscapes as described below:


Lakeview/Agoura Road Intersection Improvements

Improvements at the intersection of Agoura Road/Lakeview Canyon Road are underway with completion anticipated for September 2016. 

The total budget for fiscal year 15-16 was  $236,000.

Dog Park

This project involves the design and construction of a dog park on City-owned land located at the southwest corner of Oak Crest Drive and Agoura Road.

The total budget for fiscal year 2016-17 is $830,300.
This project is scheduled to begin in February 2017.  


Agoura Road Sidewalk Lighting Improvements

This project involves the installation of walkway lighting along the new Agoura Road sidewalk between Lakeview Canyon Road and Lindero Canyon Road. 

The total budget for fiscal year 16-17 is $352,200.
This project is scheduled to begin in February 2017.
 


ADA Handicap Ramp Installations


This project involves the construction of 22 handicap ramps at various intersections in the City.

The total budget for fiscal year 16-17 is $100,000.
This project is scheduled to begin in February 2017.

Westlake Village Community Park
Construction of the second phase of the above-ground improvements to include the remaining general infrastructure construction, third ball field, and the east side improvements including soccer fields, sports lighting, park amenities, fencing, restroom/concession building, and a gazebo. 

The budget for fiscal year 16-17 is $8,505,800.
This project is underway.

Annual Street Resurfacing Program

The Annual Street Resurfacing Program includes a slurry surface of Lindero Canyon Road between Agoura Road and Ridgeford Drive. Multiple streets within the First Neighborhood and Three Springs are also scheduled for work. 

The budget for fiscal year 16-17 is $1,000,000.
This project is scheduled to begin in August 2016.
