Teen
Dial-a-Ride
The City of Westlake Village offers a recreational transportation program for
middle school and high school teens. The program is available
to teens who need transportation to and from the following activities and locations:
- Agoura Hills/Westlake Village teen recreation program
- Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center
- Westlake Village Library
- YMCA middle school and high school recreational programs
- Middle school and high school after school extra curricular activities
At the conclusion of any of the above programs, teens can call 818-707-2900 for service. Teens will need to indicate that they are participating in the Westlake Village teen transit service and provide the cab company their name, school they attend, program location, and destination. The cost of a one-way trip is $1.00 and teens will need to show the cab driver their school identification indicating that they are a middle school or high school age student.
Transportation is also available from the teen's residence to the above locations. The Westlake Village teen transit service is available during any of the above program hours. This program is not available for transportation home directly after school. This program is subsidized by the City using Proposition A monies, which are County-side sales tax funds approved by the voters to be used for transportation purposes. For further information on this program, please call City Hall at 706-1613.
