The City has five parks, Berniece
Bennett, Canyon Oaks, Russell
Ranch, Three Springs, and
Foxfield Park. The Parks are open for public use between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. All parks are non-reservable and can be used on a first come first served basis only. Only the ball fields at Russell Ranch Park can be reserved for local youth organizations to practice and play. Moonbounces and other inflatables are permitted in the park; however, please contact City Hall for more information and insurance requirements.
TRAILS
The City of Westlake Village and its surrounding communities have many great hiking trails as well. Click here to download a map of the hiking trails within the greater Westlake Village Community.
RECREATION
Senior Programs
The City of Westlake Village offers Senior Recreation programs in
the Community Room at the Westlake Village Civic Center (map). Programs
include exercise classes, bridge, computer classes, and Book Discussion Groups. Senior
Programs are open to all Westlake Village residents aged 55+. Non
residents are asked to pay on additional fee.
Youth Programs
The City of Westlake Village offers an After School Enrichment program and Summer Recreation programs at White Oak Elementary School through a contract with the Conejo Recreation and Park District.
Community Services
Transportation
The City of Westlake Village offers transportation for its residents
through four different programs:
Community Room
The Community Room and the JB Henderson Fireside Room are all available
for use by non-profit groups serving the City of Westlake Village. Groups are not charged a fee, but they must provide certificates of
insurance.
Film Permits
The City of Westlake Village has a long history of providing backdrops and locations
for many commercials, television shows, and motion pictures. Filming is allowed
in the City of Westlake Village under certain guidelines.

Special Event Permits
The City of Westlake Village makes a beautiful setting for community
events. The American Heart Walk, Crusin the Conejo, Love Run, and
Pumpkin Run are examples of such events held each year in the City.

Citizen and Youth Recognition
Each year the City Council recognizes outstanding youth and adult residents who
have made a difference in enhancing and improving the quality of life within the
community. Individuals nominated must be Westlake Village residents.

Community Service Grants
The City recognizes the value of local organizations who provide specialized social services and cultural programs that benefit the citizens of Westlake Village. Each year, the City Council sets aside an appropriation earmarked to support the Community Services Grant Program. Grants will be awarded in amounts of not less than $250. Not-for-profit organizations that serve the residents of the City of Westlake Village are eligible to apply.
