Waste Management Collection Agreement
2023 Rate Increase
Effective July 1, 2023, waste collection rates will increase for some residential customers and all commercial customers. Per the terms of the collection agreement, rates will not increase for most residential customers. Rates will only increase for neighborhoods that are currently paying less than the standard rate of $29.35 per month. Please see the table below for further details.

Waste Collection Agreement
The City of Westlake Village has an agreement with Waste Management (WM) for the exclusive collection of residential and commercial waste including garbage, recyclable materials, and organic waste. Please visit the WM website or contact WM directly for all service needs and questions including:
- Start or stop service
- Bill questions and payment options
- Apply for a senior discount or low-income discount
- Request a bulky item pickup
- Request a Household Hazardous Waste pickup
- Request a free Kitchen Food Waste Pail or Home Compost Bin
- Questions about recyclable materials and organic waste
