Join the City for a wonderful day at the Westlake Village Community Park on Sunday, April 7 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. 

Event Activities

Yoga

Relax from wherever you are in the City with Citywide Yoga at 2:00 pm on the Soccer Field Side. Local resident and instructor Lisa Wildermuth will lead the 30-minute yoga session. On the day of the event click here for the video to follow along.

Games and Fitness Activities

Enjoy family friendly and hometown favorites such as sack races, capture the flag, wheelbarrow races, spoon races, and more from 2:30- 5:00 pm on the soccer field.

Food and Snacks

Local food trucks Kona Ice and Farm and Flame will be selling food during the entire event. Cash only transactions. GoGo Squeez will be on hand with some free tasty treats for the guests. 

Kite Flying

Bring your own kite or snag one of our free kites (to the first 300 guests) and take them up in the breezes up at the park on the soccer field side.

Skate Park Giveaways

Enjoy all the skate park features with a giveaway drawing for some Val Surf swag at the table by the skate park.  

Check your Step Count

Using our beautiful walking trail see how many steps you can get in 10 minutes. Bring your step counter and check in near ball field three to participate. How many steps can we get as a City at the event?

Arts and Crafts, Petting Zoo, and Balloon Animals or Face Painting

Offered for free from 2:00-5:00 pm. CreAte Studios will be hosting a special area for people to create special springtime crafts. 

GREEN TENT

Come visit the green table and plant some poppy seeds to take home or get some free goodies to use in the garden sponsored by the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.

MEET YOUR CITY COUNCIL AND NEW CITY MANAGER

Visit the City table for some City giveaways, a chance to chat with your City Council, and City Manager.

Egg Hunts 

There will be egg hunts offered four times during the event. The sets are split up by age group and will be held on the separate ball fields. Field 1 will be ages 7-10. Field 2 will be ages 4-6. Field 3 will be ages 0-3. Residents are encouraged to bring their own basket to collect eggs. Egg hunts will be at 3:00, 3:30, 4:00 and 4:00 pm. Residents will be able to wait on the bleachers outside of each field before the hunts begin. Eggs have candy or small toys inside.
