The Housing Rehabilitation Program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for low-income Westlake Village homeowners. Through this program, eligible homeowners can receive grants for necessary health and safety repairs to their home such as water heater replacement, electrical and plumbing repairs, accessibility improvements, heating and air conditioning repairs, and roof repairs.
This program is funded using federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Eligible participants must be the owner of the single-family home or mobilehome to be rehabilitated, must occupy the home as their primary residence, and must be considered low-income, which is defined as having a household income that is 80% or less of the Median Household Income for Los Angeles County, based on the number of persons living in the household. The income limits for 2022 are shown in the table below.
Interested eligible homeowners will be added to the program waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about this program and to be added to the waiting list, please contact Housing Rehabilitation Program consultant Micheal Neal at (909) 261-2770 or mneal@mbakerintl.com.
