About the City Celebration

City Celebration PosterThe City Celebration is an annual day-long event that brings the community together at the Westlake Village Civic Center. This year marks the 15th year of the event and the collaborations with four non-profit organizations and local businesses. Featuring exciting local performances, delicious food, electronic waste collection, document shredding collection, and the popular White Oak Elementary Family Festival, the Westlake Village City Celebration truly offers something for residents of all ages and interests.

The 2017 City Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, October 21 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. For more information, please contact Brianne Anderson, Community Services Manager at 818-706-1613.

Schedule of Events for October 21, 2017


3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Dance and Game Zone
Enjoy giant Jenga, checkers, and other games in the back patio area or have a dance party and enjoy games brought to you by the Thousand Oaks DJ Company in the main courtyard.

3 p.m. - 6 p.m. E-Waste Drop-Off event and Document Shredding Event
 At the Farmer's Insurance Parking Lot located at 31051 Agoura Road. There is a limit of three boxes per family at the shredding event only. Presented by ShredZero and PC Recycle.

3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Emergency Services Meet 'N' Greet 'N' Explore
Residents will have the opportunity to meet and greet their local Sheriff and Fire personnel while exploring Sheriff and Fire vehicles and the famous "Shakey Quakey" earthquake simulator.

3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Lutheran Social Services Trick or Treat Trail
Participants are encouraged to dress up and bring their trick or treat containers to the second annual Trick Or Treat Trail. The trail has been made longer and more interactive this year. Each participant can participate for $5. All proceeds will support local Lutheran Social Services Programs.

3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Triunfo YMCA Haunted House
 As a joint effort with "The Best Halloween Store Ever", the Triunfo YMCA is hosting a Haunted House in the Community Rooms for $3 per person. All proceeds will support Triunfo YMCA Teen Programs.

3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Central Food Court Dinner and Snacks:
Presented by "Pickles and Peas", "Farm and Flame", "Epic Taco", "Jersey Dogs", and "California Kettle Corn" with a portion of the proceeds to support the Westlake Village Community Foundation.

3 p.m. - 8 p.m.  Local Craft Beer and Wine on the Back Patio
Presented by "Wades Wines", "Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company", "14 Cannons Brewery", and "Westlake Brewing Company". Proceeds support the Westlake Village Community Foundation.Live entertainment provided by Heather Youmans duo for acoustic and top 40 on the back courtyard from 3-7 p.m.

3 p.m. - 8 p.m. White Oak Elementary Family Festival
Rides, Candy Land, game booths, inflatables, toys and bake sale. All proceeds benefit the White Oak PFC. Ride bracelets and tickets are available for purchase at the event. This year, a special glitter tattoos by Susie will be part of the fun fair.

6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Magic Show in City Council Chambers- Christopher T. Magician
Presented by the Friends of the Westlake Village Library

7 p.m. - 8 p.m. "80z All-Stars"

Finale Concert tribute to the 1980's in the center Courtyard
