Westlake Village City-to-Resident Notification Systems
The City of Westlake Village issues City specific alerts in one of two ways: (1) Connect-CTY is used for life threatening emergencies such as evacuations, wind storms, and active police activity. All Westlake Village home telephone numbers have been loaded into the City's emergency system although residents may add in additional contact information by going onto the City's website and registering; and (2) through the City website Emergency Alert system. The website Emergency Alert system is used for less threatening incidents such as road closures and power outages. All Westlake Village residents and businesses are encouraged to register additional information with Connect-CTY. With Connect-CTY, our administrators can send periodic and personalized voice messages to residents within minutes. The Connect-CTY™ service will be used to complement our emergency preparedness procedures and to inform residents of pressing and important issues such as emergencies and community surveys.
